Valve Teases TF2 Pyro Update

The Pyro class in Valve's Team Fortress 2 will see significant updates in the near future.
Along with a "Meet the Sniper" video, Valve plans to bring the same kind of new features and achievements to the Pyro class as it did with the Medic class recently. The first new weapon is the "Axtinguisher," which will only deal half the damage of the regular Ax, but will guarantee a critical hit when used on someone engulfed in flames. Along with new weapons and achievements, Valve also plans to revamp many other aspects of the class, making "significant changes to the Pyro class for everyone, regardless of whether they have unlocked any new items."
This ongoing trend will eventually hit every class available in the game, and Valve is starting with the less-popular classes and working their way up. The game company released the first TF2 update in late April, which gave the Medic class three new unlockable weapons and a whopping 36 new achievements. Valve also release the "Goldrush" map, which features the "Payload" gameplay style.
While game updates, especially those of the free variety, are always welcomed, Valve may have to address the growing issue of "achievement servers" that set up by players specifically to complete the new achievements and get the new weapons. While accomplishing achievements is an integral part of Team Fortress 2, doing so by cheating, exploiting, or just sitting in a server full of medics is frowned upon by most players and could result in a server being shut down.
