Saitek launched a new line of Cyborg gaming peripherals at CES 2008 this week, which include an updated keyboard, mouse, headset and gamepad.

The Cyborg Keyboard features customizable, multi-color backlighting with Tru Vu illumination and offers three different colors - red, green and amber - as well as adjustable brightness. The keyboard also comes with a touch-sensitive, backlit dashboard control panel, 12 programmable Cyborg keys, and an adjustable wrist rest and keyboard rake angle.

Saitek's Cyborg Mouse features 3200 dpi for gamers and also has an adjustable scroll wheel that allows customers to change the click strength of the wheel. The mouse itself is also customizable - the grip can be extended or retracted to fit the size of your hand. The Cyborg Mouse also comes with 2 programmable buttons, a programmable 4-way, low profile hate switch, and internal software that retains specific game settings.

The Cyborg Headset has 5.1 surround sound capability with three audio drivers per ear. The headset is compatible with USB connections or 3.5 mm jacks and comes with a detachable noise-canceling microphone adjustable headband, and in-line volume and mute controls.

Lastly, there's the Cyborg Rumble Gamepad, which looks similar to Microsoft's Xbox controllers. The gamepad has two quick-fire shoulder triggers, two analog triggers, and two analog joysticks, among a host of other buttons. The Cyborg Rumble Gamepad is also programmable and even comes with FPS and Precision buttons that instantly configure the gamepad for shooter games and also increase the aiming accuracy of the analog sticks.

Saitek has not announced pricing or specific availability for the new Cyborg product line.
