Introduction
Editor's Note: the following article attempts to convey some of the recent posts from the games section of the TG Forumz. We attempted to collect a wide variety of commentary - humorous, insightful and provocative - for this article; as the saying goes, two out of three ain't bad... Here are some of the more notable discussions from our forum participants, the opinions of whom do not necessarily reflect those of the editors of TwitchGuru or TG Publishing.
Talk about opening up a can of worms. In a recent multiplayer melee, Aaron and Rob debated the sensitive issue of female gamers. By way of summary, Aaron felt that women gamers were all about using their looks instead of their gaming skills, while Rob, hoping to impress legions of girls across the globe, defended female gamers (especially the good-looking ones!) While we tried to handle the subject with the utmost care and respect, some folks took offense and an intense debate erupted in the Games Forumz.

All-girl gaming clan The Frag Dolls
Starting us off, CHEEZball declared, "first and foremost, Aaron, I wanna smack you!" Then CHEEZball, a woman gamer herself, goes Tootsie on us. "For the early years of my gaming I posed as a man to avoid the "OMG a girl! Show us your boobs!" comments. You have no idea how common this is... and how common it is for girls to hide under the male mask. I have been in a all-girl clan. HEADACHE big time. It's not worth it IMO. And I'm sure almost all female gamers have either tried one, or heard the stories. There are alot of REAL girl gamer clans that don't do publicity stunts and don't show up to those gaming conventions because they just want to play the game and prefer not to have the attention. Yes, there are 'attention whore' players, but you can't base an opinion on every girl gamer based on a few of these attention getters." Which was exactly Rob's point - so there.
