The Sims 2

Even the first Sims game had nude skins, but the Sims 2 ones are far more detailed and more proportionally correct. Why should that matter? Well, no-one likes looking at ugly naked things, even in games. The Sims community caters to all tastes and there are also male nude skins available. Since we're on the topic, The Sims strikes much closer to the GTA scandal than you might think - Maxis' series also has community patches that remove the pixilation over nude Sims. And there are plenty of patches that let you watch your Sims have sex.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto

How did the moral watchdogs miss this one? The original version of Giants features the nymph Delphi strutting around topless. It also had a small Scottish alien saying "Balls!" The game's publishers stepped in and the offending bits were neatly covered up. Only, though, as long as you didn't install the Blood patch, which turned the game's blood color back to the traditional red and, as a bonus, showed us Delphi's assets. The balls bit is there, regardless.

Neverwinter Nights

Well, when you think about it, what would an RPG be without some nudity? Clearly several fans of Bioware's Neverwinter Nights thought the same way and quite a few nude skins have surfaced. But when you think about it, female fantasy characters are generally semi-nude while their male counterparts have enough armor on to put the entire Crusades to shame. So the step is really a small one. Of course, marching around naked in an RPG would be foolish.
