Steelpad QcK+

The Steelpad QcK+ is a cloth and rubber pad. The surface is some form of neoprene. It is similar to a material used in diving suits. The texture is something like that of spandex. It is very smooth because it is a woven fabric; however, there is enough friction for a ball mouse to grab as well as an optical sensor to read.

A very tight weave makes this pad very versatile.

The rubber used for the backing to the fabric grips the table surface very well. The soft backing and texture of the surface made this the most comfortable surface on which to work and play.

The QcK+ backing.

The QcK+ has the largest surface area of all of the four mouse pads in this review. There is little chance that your mouse will not fit on it. I was easily able to alternate between mice on the QcK+ for two different systems without ever bumping into the other.

The size is definitely great to have. Your mouse will not run off the edge while gaming. However, if your desktop is not that large, this pad might not fit your workspace. If you like the feel but you have a lack of space, Steelpad offers the QcK, which is the smaller brother to the QcK+.
