Steelpad S&S

S&S stands for Steel and SK. The reason is that Schroet Kommando (SK), one of the world's most well known Counter-Strike teams, designed it. When you have prize purses worth over $25,000 to be won, you cannot afford to have inadequate hardware.

The Steelpad S&S's footprint is slightly larger than the 4D, which gives more room for your mouse to roam. It is made of an innovative plastic that allows it to be only 2mm thick yet retain a high degree of rigidity. The back of the pad has a sprayed-on rubber compound that keeps the S&S in place even during the most intense action.

At first, it felt a little rougher to the touch than the 4D's coarse side. Upon further examination, the peaks and valleys in the surface of the S&S are higher and lower than that of the 4D. However, the peaks are more polished than the 4D's coarse side making it almost a hybrid of both sides of the 4D. This design also makes it easier on your hand as you slide side-to-side compared to the 4D's coarse side.

Designed by professional gamers for gamers, this pad comes with its own carrying bag to protect the surface and backing during transport. This makes it a nice addition to your LAN Party arsenal.

The back of the bag has a pocket for you to hold your mouse, or if you can play like the guys who designed it, a place where you can stash your check after you win first-place at the next LAN tournament.
