Preparing The Arena Of Combat

To make any event a success you need to make sure that the essentials are taken care of, such as servers, switches, cables and power.

Preparing The Arena Of Combat

That is only half of the equation. This not just a LAN, it is a LAN party. For a party you need the food, drinks and gifts for your guests.

Bawls for a buck and a quarter, two-dollar sandwiches and a 50-cent bag of chips makes for a cheap meal.

Stompfest had a vast amount of prizes on and under that table. You could almost do your ABC's with all of the sponsors' prizes for the gamers. There was a motherboard from Abit and All American Computers who also sent a large box of goodies. AMD was on hand with processors and ATI sent a few Radeon video cards. Brady Games gave strategy guides and books. Chenbro brought Hornet and Xpider cases. You could keep it going on down the list of sponsors. Whether it was win, lose or draw out of a hat, it was hard to walk away empty-handed.
